Comics

Masculinity in crisis is a recurring theme in the comics (everything) Tuur & Flup create.

When invited by artistic organizations WorkSpaceBrussels & S.a.L.E. Docks at the Venice Biennale in 2017 Tuur & Flup used cartoonish drawings to help tourists successfully survive the big art event.

Next to guiding innocent tourists these drawings also showed in a comical way how locals are struggling to survive in this modern-day Venice.

The survival tips were printed and distributed on posters through the city, one drawing was printed on a toad bag and could be bought at the entrance of the S.a.L.E. Docks-pavilion.

Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
